Technical Officers Seminar success!

EDSO hold a Seminar for all Sports Technical Officers to share their information and view to enhance improvement to future European Championships.

It was very successful that all the technical officers had agreed the best way forward for the EDSO.
13 Technical Officers and 7 Board members had come to Brugges, Belgium at the weekend of 8th-10th October 2010.

The newly elected EDSO Board members had meet before the seminar, for the first Executive meeting, since the Congress, and also it was for the first time for Belgium Deaf Sports Committee (BDC) to host such kind of meeting and seminar.

W: Weakness
O: Opportunities
T: Threat

These highlight the problems that Technical Officer and the Board members had encountered in the previous European Championships and had discussed to overcome it. Andre Lathouwers was chairing the whole of the Seminar and Juhn-Matti was excellent conductor of the workshop. Also it was clear that the Regulation need to be upgrade along with General Provision Regulation as per EDSO Checklist. Technical Regulation for each Sport will be attached to the General Provision Regulation.

EDSO Website will need to be modified in fairness for all Sports.

Professor Jan Verstuyft from Belgium Olympic Committee had given a lecture about anti-doping and WADA.

Belgian Deaf Sports Committee (BDC) had invited all the Technical Officers and Board members for the meal in Brugges Deaf Club to celebrate their 80th anniversary of Brugges Deaf Sports Club "Koninklijke Sporting Kring Doven Brugge".

EDSO had thanks Belgian Deaf Sports Committee (BDC) and especially Jan Van den Braembussche for excellent host and warm hospitality from the local deaf members.
